Introduction

History

Founded in 1994 in Marseilles, by Robert and Pascal Avon, President and CEO of the company.

Avon Communications started a local business already focused on maintenance in theyachting, the merchant marine and fisheries. In 1996, Koden Electronics (Japan) entrust to Avon Communications the distribution of its products in France.

The company began to develop his national commercials and technical activities

In 1998, Decca Radar (Today Sperry Marine) choose the company AVON as the exclusive agent for the support and the sale of its military and civilians.

Then began a strong partnership with various French industrial sector including Naval DCN (now DCNS) and Thales.

In the maritime sector during the same period, AVON moved to Havre, and then to Brest.

Developing strong relationships on the basis of technical support 24/24, 7 days / 7 with major French and foreign shipping: CMA-CGM, Nantaise shipping company, SNCM, Louis Dreyfus ... etc ....

The Team

The company is positioned in key ports of its activities: Marseille, Le Havre and Brest.

Twenty-two people, including 16 technicians, engineers and developers provide 24 to 24 hours, 7 days 7, France and everywhere in the world, or support the implementation of various systems onboard or on shore.
